Looks of rabbit, human (not her actual outfit), and monster forms:

Example typical wear in human form: a white leather jacket, a shirt with "YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL PERSON" printed on the front, and pants with rainbow colored stars. Expressive gesturing in all forms. Visually in her 20s as human but actually older than that.

Pretty much anything goes with Clover, but do talk to me first about causing any form of severe harm including death.

As for "what the hell is this character?" the short version is a friendly magic-eating eldritch monster that happens to have the ability to turn into two other forms: human and weird rabbit. Monster form is physically strong and hard for the nonmagical to notice--their gazes just slide over her without registering her, unless someone points her out or something. Rabbit form can levitate.

In her monster form, her singing brings entropic destruction. Fortunately, she doesn't like using that form much. In other forms, singing can have magical effects--buffing or debuffing others, breaking spells, or making explosions happen. Her singing is really good.

Definitely comes off as weird to any magical senses or the like. Mindreaders can understand her thoughts just fine but they have a weird feel to them.

IC Information

Character name: Clover
Character canon: Invisible Hand (original)
Canon point: A couple of years after Darkest Night
Physical Description: rabbit form, human form (warning: PB is from fanservicey manga), and monster form. In her human form, she typically wears stuff like a white leather jacket, a shirt with "YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL PERSON" printed on the front, and pants with rainbow colored stars. Appearance she looks to be in her mid-twenties. Heightwise, she's the size of a rabbit in her rabbit form, about six feet tall in her human form, and about ten feet tall in her monster form.

About the Character:
The most Clover remembers from her early life is drifting through the turns of an almost empty space, occasionally swimming in directions that can't be expressed in human words. Then she felt the attraction of intense amounts of aura and entered another space, this one strangely hard to move in and full of obstacles. Once there, she started trying to find the source of that intense aura, while devouring the aura from some curiously mobile containers. Some of them sent things at her that hurt, but she would always sing to rend the hurty containers or tear them apart with her hands. And then some containers with intense aura did something that twisted her perception... and suddenly she could see the moving aura containers as humans and the obstacles as walls and ground and the aura as magic and...

Initially Clover was confused by her sudden shift in perceptive, but things slid into place as the mages who had converted her into a smaller and cuter form explained matters. They were members of an ancient group called the Hand of Providence who had existed for three hundred years, and they had turned her into a familiar to serve them. Which she would do by approaching children with magical potential and offering to awaken their magical powers so they could fight monsters. Monsters like Clover. Suddenly she understand that the 'aura containers' that had inflicted pain on her were young mages fighting against her. She wasn't sure what to name the emotion she felt then, but she ended up agreeing to work for the Hand and took on the name Blissflower.

So began Clover's several decades of awakening young mages, teaching them to fight monsters, then telling them to give up their magic at the age of eighteen to pass on to the next mage. This was a lie--the magic actually went to the Hand of Providence, who hoarded it to help preserve their longevity and power. Their hoard of magic was what had attracted Clover and many other monsters to this world. And so this scheme of harvesting successive generations' magic continued, with Clover becoming increasingly uneasy with it. And she was able to find a word for the emotion that had plagued her the whole time: guilt. Guilt for killing those humans and guilt for making young mages fight and taking their magic.

But she was trapped. The Hand had installed a killswitch in her when she became a familiar. If triggered this killswitch would turn her back into a monster, and she would be hunted down by the young mages. So she continued her work. And then her charge died. This happened occasionally--monster fighting was a dangerous job. But the look on the face of the other mage, Faith, when Michelle died got to her. For her final charge, she was placed with a young mage who had lost his familiar in battle. She developed a closer bond with him over three years than she expected, becoming friends and comrades. Close enough that he refused to give up his magic. Her increasingly urgent pleads with him did no good, and the kill switch installed in her triggered, sending her back into her monster form in a berserk state while at the same time temporarily stripping him of his magic.

Being forced to kill her best friend was the final straw. Once she awakened from her mindless state, Clover knew her days were numbered, as the Hand would mark her as another monster to be put down. And she experienced another emotion: rage. She screamed curses she had learned from living with humans, swore that she would see the Hand torn down with her own hand, before finally collapsing with grief and regret. Among other regrets, that she hadn't found a way to quit earlier. She wandered in a near stupor, until she ran into Hope, who helped her with her recovery. But she'd grown to hate her monster form which had taken so many lives, so she asked Hope for help getting a new form. Not her monster form or her former familiar form, with which she had deceived multiple young mages. A new one that would be her own.

She was referred to Jailbreak, who helped her design her new form, a cute but odd looking rabbit. Changing into it turned out to be the hardest part, but the process helped her work out how to transform at will into any of her forms. So she managed to, without Jailbreak's help, create a human form as well. As Clover got to know Jailbreak during the process of working with her, she admired some things and decided to emulate them. And she found it fun for a while before feeling aimless again. Then she suddenly decided to become something that had fascinated her for a while: an idol. But she was well aware of the Hand's ties to the entertainment industry so she decided to become something outside that system: a renegade idol.

So began a strange career spanning a little more than a year. Singing came completely naturally to her; she had, after all, sang as a monster, if a very different kind of song. She started by singing in random places outdoor, then she got the idea of an interesting wrinkle to her renegade idol career: breaking into places to hold unauthorized concerts. She particularly favored properties held by the Hand for the more destructive concerts, where she would put her all into singing up some explosions. Remarkably enough, she found living like this to be fun, and she began trying out all kinds of things in her human form she'd never got to try before. Watching movies in the theater, going skydiving, smoking grass (which didn't have quite the intended effect on a nonhuman but was still fun as a social thing), riding a motorcycle, getting laid.

Yet the Hand lurked in the back of her mind and she began working with Lighthouse, a group opposed to them. One of them turned out to be familiar: Faith. It was a painful reunion for both of them. But she still continued her efforts with them (during which they helped her pick the name Clover), up until the events of Darkest Night, in which Lighthouse broke into an underground lethal fighting ring the Hand ran periodically with young mages forced to fight each other. There, they killed the leaders of the Hand and revealed the organization's existence to the world.

In the aftermath, Clover continued helping hunt down members of the Hand but concentrated primarily on getting her musical career properly started, working on releasing songs with accompanying videos on the internet. She started engaging properly with the music industry, meeting other artisans and on occasional meeting with them... and also exposing the Hand's holdings in the industry.

Overall, Clover comes off as cheerful, bold, forward. This's because this is the attitude she's simply found it most fun to approach life with. By throwing herself into things with gusto, she ends up in interesting situations and generally having a blast.

That isn't to say that she doesn't have her sorrows and anger buttons. The loss of the mages she's worked with, the things she did unaware as a monster before she met the Hand, being forced to kill her best friend, those things linger with her. When something reminds her too much of those things, she can slip into a glump or angry mood.

She has an inquisitive, curious nature, which helps contribute to her somewhat yolo way of living, as she'll often try new things. And she's developed a love of learning new things, having found learning new skills through her recent years a rather fun endeavor.

Character abilities:
First off she has three different forms she can transform into: her rabbit form (which serves as her default form), her human form, and her monster form. She no longer has access to the form she had as a familiar: she got it deleted. As for her undeletable monster form, she never uses it if she can avoid it. When she transforms, she can carry over whatever small items she has on her or have it withdraw into a nebulous state inside her until she changes back and she can also decide what she's wearing when she transforms. She's honed this ability to the point where she can deposit and withdraw stuff from herself as long as it isn't too big.

Her monster form comes with the following never used abilities: great strength, being really hard for nonmagical people to perceive (their eyes just slide off and stuff), and a cacophonic song that causes entropic breakdowns around herself. Her rabbit form can levitate to make it easier to reach high places, while the only benefit her human form has is opposable thumbs and the like.

Not only can she sing very well outside her monster form, her singing is magical. When she sings and wills it, she can cause explosions, bolster other people increasing their capabilities temporarily, or dispel harmful magic. Note that her magic dispelling requires her to overcome the magic itself--the more powerful the magic, the harder it is to dispel. She can mix effects, but each effect becomes weaker. So when mixing effects she'll typically do one primary effect and one secondary effect.

In terms of more mundane skills, aside from singing and fighting, she's developed skills associated with living on the run and her 'renegade idol' activities. Largely stuff like sneaking, shamelessly using her rabbit form's cuteness to get food and shelter, lockpicking and other skills for breaking in, how to cover her trail, stuff like that. In addition, she's learned skills associated with being an independent professional musician, such as self-promotion, sound and video editing, arranging gigs, dancing, and so on.
Inventory:
A magical microphone created by Jailbreak. It acts similarly to a conventional microphone, but doesn't require being hooked up to loudspeakers. In addition, it helps amplify her song magic. It sizes itself to fit the hands of whatever form she uses it in and can disappear and appear as needed.
A wallet with the usual stuff in it. Attached to it is her keychain.
Business cards with her name on it.
A smartphone with a star-covered case.
